Meghan Markle dines with Malala Yousafzai in London

The Duchess of Sussex and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai were seen having dinner together at Claridge's hotel in Mayfair on the evening of 7 October 2026, the Daily Mail reported. The outing marks the first public sighting of Meghan Markle in London since she and Prince Harry moved back to the United Kingdom, according to the Daily Mail, People.com, and Us Weekly. [1][2][4]

The Daily Mail reported that the Duchess of Sussex is 45 years old, while Yousafzai is 29. The pair previously collaborated in 2020 when they appeared together in a virtual discussion to mark International Day of the Girl and advocate for girls' education. [1]

Meghan Markle is married to Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, who is the younger son of King Charles III. Yousafzai is an activist for female education from Pakistan who was shot in the head by a Taliban gunman on a school bus at age 15 in October 2012.
