Former Vice President Kamala Harris criticized both the Biden and Trump administrations for failing to use American leverage against Israel during the war in Gaza, multiple news outlets reported. The New York Post, Haaretz, Jewish Insider, The Hill, and The Jerusalem Post reported that Harris called for Washington to act sooner and more forcefully to stop Israel's horrific conduct. [1][2][3][8][9]

According to the New York Post, Harris said the current administration offers Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a blank check. She stated that the former administration should have acted sooner to curtail the military campaign in Gaza. [1]

Harris served as the 49th vice president of the United States under President Joe Biden from 2021 to 2025. She was also the Democratic nominee in the 2024 presidential election. As FTMQ News reported earlier, the United States supplied billions of dollars in military aid and weapons shipments to Israel during the conflict. [10][15]
