Japan reclaims mixed team world judo title in Baku

Japan won the Mixed Team World Championship title on October 11 in Baku, Azerbaijan, after defeating Russia in the final. Euronews reported that the victory gave Japan their eighth gold medal of the competition. The result marked the first time that Russia reached the mixed team final. [1]
