Donald Trump urges Democratic Senator John Fetterman to join Republican Party

President Donald Trump stated on Saturday that he would welcome Democratic Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania into the Republican Party. Fox News reported that Donald Trump praised John Fetterman after stepping off Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews. When asked if he had spoken to John Fetterman about changing parties, Donald Trump called him a great guy and said he would love to see it. [1]

John Fetterman has served as the senior United States senator from Pennsylvania since 2023. As FTMQ News reported earlier, a recent poll showed John Fetterman drawing higher support from Pennsylvania Republicans than from Democrats.
