A 46-year-old man of no fixed address was remanded in custody at Cork District Court on October 14, according to the Irish Examiner. Timmy O'Shea appeared before Judge David Waters in connection with an attack in Cork city where a passenger was dragged from a vehicle. [1]

The Irish Examiner reported that three men dragged a front seat passenger out of a car, beat him unconscious, and robbed items from him. Sergeant David Fleming applied for the remand, which Judge Waters granted until October 29. [1]

During the court proceedings, the accused man claimed that he had nothing to do with anyone being pulled out of a car and beaten, the Irish Examiner reported. [1]

The defendant remains in custody ahead of his next scheduled court appearance on October 29. [1]
