BTS Leader RM Urges Lima Hotel Crowds to Respect Group Privacy

The leader of South Korean pop group BTS, RM, has requested that fans stop gathering outside the band's hotel in Peru, UPI reported. Crowds gathered outside the hotel in Lima while the seven-member group stayed there for the Peruvian stop of its ARIRANG world tour. [1]

According to UPI, RM stated on Wednesday that the noise outside the building has prevented the performers from getting enough sleep. The singer posted his message on the fan platform Weverse, asking fans to respect the privacy of the group and allow its members to rest between concerts. [1]

The band's performances in the country have brought tens of thousands of visitors to the city of Lima, UPI reported. Chosunbiz separately noted that group member Jin recently appeared at Incheon airport prior to the start of the band's tour in South America. [1][8]
