Claire Chadwick, a 40-year-old pregnant British woman, died in Nigeria on October 29 alongside her unborn child, the Daily Mail reported. The Daily Mail, Sahara Reporters, Punch Newspapers, Vanguard News, and Legit News all reported that both the mother and her unborn baby passed away. Chadwick was 37 weeks pregnant at the time of her death. [1][2][3][4][5]

According to the Daily Mail, Chadwick developed sepsis and died from septic shock after her baby girl died in the womb. The Daily Mail added that Chadwick had recently moved to Nigeria to start a new life with her husband, Ibrahim, who had documented their life together in social media videos. [1][5]
