An Australian father has died after his life support was turned off following a stabbing in New South Wales, the Daily Mail reported. Emergency services located 28-year-old Shannon Royal with a neck wound on Calimo Street in North Albury at around 1am on September 27. [1]

According to the Daily Mail, police officers performed CPR on Mr Royal at the scene before paramedics taken him to the hospital in critical condition. Doctors later informed his family that he had suffered catastrophic brain damage and would not recover from his injuries. [1]

The tragic loss follows another recent violence involving Australian citizens abroad. As FTMQ News reported earlier, a Sydney father was left in critical condition in a Colombian hospital after being kidnapped and stabbed more than 25 times following a music festival in Medellin. [3]
