Australia have omitted fast bowlers Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Mitchell Starc from their squads for the upcoming white-ball series against England, BBC News and The Guardian reported. The series features three one-day internationals and five Twenty20 matches against the visiting team. [1][2]

The veteran seamers recently played all three Tests in a 2-1 series loss to South Africa, BBC News reported. The Guardian reported that the fast bowlers were left out of both squads on Monday to refresh before competing in 10 Test matches over 14 weeks later this summer. [1][2][3]

Cummins and Hazlewood will miss both the ODI and Twenty20 fixtures, BBC News reported. Starc, who is 36 years old, was omitted from the ODI squad and has already retired from the Twenty20 format of the game. [1][2]

The one-day international series is set to begin in Perth on 13 November, with the Twenty20 series starting on 21 November, according to BBC News. Fast bowler Mahli Beardman, aged 21, has been included in both squads and could make his international debut alongside bowler Shaw, BBC News and The Guardian reported. [1][2]
