British Prime Minister Andy Burnham will host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Downing Street on Wednesday, the Guardian reported. The visit coincides with the United Kingdom increasing its supply of anti-drone missiles to Ukraine. Burnham stated that his message to Zelenskyy and Ukraine would be that the United Kingdom remains with them for as long as it takes. [1][4][8][9]

The meeting comes as Ukraine faces new operational and intelligence challenges. Euronews reported that Ukrainian forces experienced overnight restrictions on SpaceX Starlink satellite communications, which disrupted several drone missions. According to Serhiy Beskrestnov, an adviser to Zelenskyy, connectivity cuts occur when terminals move faster than approximately 160 kilometres per hour, affecting the military-grade StarShield service. [2]

Zelenskyy said that Ukraine received no advance intelligence warning from Western partners about incoming Russian missiles that struck a power plant in Kyiv on Tuesday evening, Euronews, AP News and the Guardian reported. However, PBS NewsHour reported that United States President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House that the United States has not stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine. [3][5][6]

The disruptions and intelligence concerns occur as political friction persists between Kyiv and Washington. NPR reported that the Trump administration warned Ukraine it could cut off intelligence sharing. As FTMQ News reported earlier, previous Russian strikes have targeted energy infrastructure in Kyiv, causing power disruptions for hundreds of thousands of residents. [3][7][12][13]
