Angolan-Portuguese rapper and singer IAMDDB has accused the Israeli government of stealing her identity in an artificial intelligence generated propaganda video. Euronews and Mixmag both report that the now deleted video was published across Israel's official social media profiles. [1][2]

The clip featured an image of a woman who closely resembles the Manchester-based musician. According to Euronews, the avatar in the video recited lyrics that included the phrase colonisers, say the name. [1]

IAMDDB, whose real name is Diana Adelaide Rocha De Brito, is based in Manchester in the United Kingdom. She released three EPs and three mixtapes by 2021, and was listed at number three on the BBC Sound of 2018 list. [1][5]

The Israeli government removed the post after the artist publicly condemned the unauthorised use of her image. [1]
