Police are searching for a man after a runner in her 20s was allegedly struck across the head and throttled by a stranger in Windsor. The Daily Mail reported that the assault occurred at approximately 11:30 am on August 28. [1]

The victim was travelling along the Jubilee River before reaching Eton Wick at the time of the attack. According to the Daily Mail, the location is a short drive from Eton College, where Prince George attends school. The blow to the woman's head caused her to fall to the ground. [1]

Thames Valley Police, the force covering the Windsor area, was previously mentioned in connection with legal challenges over search warrants. As FTMQ News reported earlier, former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor launched a High Court claim to quash search warrants used by Thames Valley Police prior to his arrest in February. [1][3]
