Inside the residence, a deputy found Rayven Lee Wooten, a 24-year-old resident of Nicoma Park, who was allegedly stealing copper wire from a dishwasher. [1]
Body camera footage released by the sheriff office shows the deputy confronting Mr Wooten and instructing him multiple times to remove his hands from his pockets, turn around, and drop to his knees, according to the New York Post. [1]
The New York Post reported that Mr Wooten made a headfirst dive through a closed window to flee from the deputy. Although the suspect briefly escaped from the scene, deputies located and arrested him after discovering that he had left his driver license behind. [1]
