New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn told reporters on Friday that running back Breece Hall and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell are ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. UPI and the New York Post both reported that left guard Dylan Parham and linebacker Kiko Mauigoa will also miss the matchup. Hall is dealing with a quadriceps injury, while Mitchell is sidelined with a finger injury. [1][2]

UPI reported that Hall sustained his quad injury in Week 3, which will cause him to miss his second consecutive game. The New York Post reported that Mitchell got his finger caught in a defender's jersey on September 24 and will sit out his third straight game. Head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed that Mitchell has not undergone surgery for the injury. [1][2]

Hall was selected by the Jets in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft after playing college football at Iowa State. Mitchell played college football for Georgia and Texas before the Indianapolis Colts drafted him in 2024. UPI reported that second-string running back Braelon Allen started in place of Hall during the Jets' recent 23-12 loss to the Chicago Bears. [1][11][12]

The New York Post reported that the Jets enter the game on a three-game losing streak. The Browns visit MetLife Stadium carrying a three-game winning streak behind quarterback Deshaun Watson, while the Jets hold a 25th-ranked offense. [2][3]
