Karl Fredericks to perform at Produce Wrestling Indigenous Peoples Day event

Professional wrestler Karl Fredericks will appear on Monday at the Produce Wrestling by Orange Crush Skoden event at Roulette Intermedium in New York, Fox News reported. The 36 year old Reno, Nevada native will be one of the performers with Native American ancestry featured on the show card, which celebrates Indigenous Peoples Day. [1]

Fredericks began his professional wrestling career on May 17, 2015, on the independent circuit in Northern California. He trained at the New Japan Pro Wrestling LA Dojo starting in 2018 and competed in the promotion for four years through August 2022. During his time in Japan, he won the 2019 Young Lion Cup tournament and participated in events such as the New Japan Cup USA 2020 and the G1 Climax. [1][3][4]

The wrestler has also held titles at All Pro Wrestling and appeared in WWE NXT under the ring name Eddy Thorpe. Pro Wrestling Illustrated named Fredericks as one of the best 500 singles wrestlers in 2021. He currently performs on the independent circuit under his real name. [1][3]

The upcoming event in New York allows Fredericks to address his cultural identity struggles and display his heritage. Fox News reported that the wrestler considers the appearance at the Skoden event to be one of his most meaningful accomplishments. [1]
