Donald Trump criticized Fox News on Monday, accusing the network of spending too much time defending Democrats instead of broadcasting Republican views. The Daily Mail reported that the statement was published on Truth Social as Donald Trump prepared to travel to Wichita to host a campaign rally for Republican Senator Roger Marshall ahead of the November 3 midterm elections. [1]

Writing on social media, Donald Trump called the coverage ridiculous and stated that Fox News was trying too hard to be polite. According to the Daily Mail, the criticism comes as Republicans prepare for the upcoming elections. [1]

The media appearances follow changes in the administration. The New York Post reported that White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia stepped down after five days in office following two media appearances on Fox News that she had requested in text messages with a White House official. [4][5]

Fox News is a conservative news channel based in New York City and is owned by Fox Corporation. Donald Trump serves as the 47th president of the United States and previously served as the 45th president. [10][11]

Donald Trump is scheduled to campaign in Wichita to support Roger Marshall before the United States midterm elections on November 3. [1]
