Claudia Winkleman stars in British Museum effort to entertain Bayeux Tapestry queues

The British Museum in London has introduced distractions for visitors waiting up to two hours in line to see the Bayeux Tapestry. As the Daily Mail and the Telegraph report, television presenter Claudia Winkleman is involved in the project to entertain people queuing for the exhibition. [1][2]

The Daily Mail reports that Winkleman, who serves as a trustee of the British Museum, stars in a promotional video. In the video, she appears as the head of security during a reenactment of the Battle of Hastings held inside the museum. [1]

Winkleman previously presented the third series of the British television show The Traitors, which aired on BBC One in January 2025. [3]
