A teenage girl injured in a fatal arson attack in Waterford is slowly making progress while her younger brother remains in critical condition, the Daily Mail reported. The attack killed four members of the same family, including parents Philip and Kim English, alongside 12-year-old Callum English and nine-year-old Jayden English. [1]

Jackie English, the sister of Philip English, told the Irish Mail on Sunday that the young boy is still critical, while the girl is making slow progress. As FTMQ News reported earlier, four members of the English family died after a suspected petrol bomb attack targeted their home in Waterford City. Gardaí opened a murder investigation following the fire, which left two children hospitalized in critical condition. [1][5][6]

According to earlier reports by FTMQ News, Gardaí have been pursuing multiple suspects from a local family linked to criminal activity. Investigators are examining whether the fatal arson attack is connected to a drug debt owed by an acquaintance of the family. [5][6]
