The Atlanta Dream will host their home games during the WNBA Finals at the Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia, Fox News and the New York Post reported. Scheduling conflicts at State Farm Arena in Atlanta made moving the home games impossible, according to the New York Post. The series begins on Saturday in California. [1][2]

Conflicts with a concert and two Atlanta Hawks regular-season games created the scheduling issues at State Farm Arena, according to the New York Post. Gateway Center Arena, the regular home venue for the Dream, has a seating capacity of 3,500 for basketball. USA Today reported that the Dream looked into other venues before the location was confirmed. [2]

The best-of-seven championship series features the Atlanta Dream facing off against the Golden State Valkyries, Fox News reported. Player Angel Reese will make her WNBA Finals debut alongside teammates Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray. The Valkyries added their WNBA expansion franchise in 2025 under owner Joe Lacob, the New York Post reported. [1][4]

Reese played college basketball for Maryland and LSU before joining the WNBA. She was raised in Randallstown, Maryland, by her mother, who also played college basketball. [10][12]
